I haven't been able to connect my PIXMA MG 5120 printer to my new PC which has Windows 11. It worked great on my old computer with Windows 10. It shows up in the devices but I can't get it to work. Can someone help me

Very first question is: What type of CPU does the new computer have? Intel? AMD? ARM?
ARM processor-equipped computers are an increasingly big problem, as seen on this forum. Canon is not coming out with ARM-compatible printer drivers for al their models. The Intel/AMD drivers do not work on AMD computers.
If your computer is an Intel/AMD, then please provide information about exactly what is happening when you try installing your printer. IN DETAIL. And what is the procedure you are using?
