Hi,
I’m currently using Canon Professional Print & Layout (PPL) software, a Canon imagePROGRAAF Pro-300 printer and A3+ Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta paper. In accordance with Hahnemuhle’s instructions, I’ve been using a “Media Type” of “Baryta Photo Paper” within PPL and getting good results. I have read that for optimal results it’s best to import a custom media profile. I downloaded the relevant AM1X file from the Hahnemuhle website and installed it using Canon’s Media Configuration Tool. All went smoothly and I now get an option of “HFA FineArt Baryta” as a “Media Type” within PPL. However, when I send my photo to print I get an error message on the printer’s LCD screen that "the size or type of the paper loaded in the manual feed tray is different from the print settings" (support code 2115). If I re-select the Media Type as “Baryta Photo Paper” within PPL and re-send the print job, it works fine. Any ideas ?
Regards,
Colin

Hi ColinR1961,
Please try these steps:
1. Please press the Home button on your PRO-300 one time.
2. Please use the down arrow to select Various settings and press OK on your PRO-300.
3. Press OK on Printer settings.
4. Use the down arrow to select Paper-related settings and press OK.
5. Use the down arrow to select Det. paper setting mismatch and press OK.
6. Select NO and press OK.
Once set, please attempt to print.

Thanks for your reply Patrick. Although that will suppress the message, I am curious as to why it came up in the first place - as far as I can see, I have set everything correctly. Do you have any ideas ?
