Please help! Every time we make a copy on our (NEW) printer from the flatbed, the following message pops up and the hazard light glows: "an unexpected error has occurred." After it happens, the printer then sounds like it's running or thinking for a while. There is no actual error code and I haven't been able to find a solution or advice online thus far.
Thanks in advance for any support. the printer is brand new and I'm at a loss.

That sounds super frustrating. I recommend calling our support team so they can troubleshoot this one-on-one with you. Just make sure to register it at https://canon.us/account, then call them at 800-OK-CANON.
