I'm looking at the printer and have questions. Can I use the black ink only instead of color printing? Is WiFi setup simple or does it require programming? Do I have to install software ? I'm on an iPad and can't install from cd. Is the ink long-lasting or does this eat ink.
thank you

Greetings,
The TS302 is a basic bare bones printer.
You can use black ink only:
Wi-Fi set up isn't bad, but you do need to have a 2.4Ghz wireless broadcast. You'll have to decide if you are comfortable with set up:

Printing from your iPAD using Canon Apps is possible.
Ink tank(s)l life. This depends on you, and what you're printing.
There is only one thing I think you might have problems with... Specifyng that the printer only use black ink for printing without a computer. I don't think the Canon Print App allows this finite level of control... the same as you would have if your your running with the device connected to a PC or MAC.
