Canon Pixma ix6850 black scaling issue/ICC profile issue

I have just changed printers, however the model is exactly the same (ix6850).

The issue Im having is it wont print the same as on the prvous printer. The black colours on certain prints, I would like to blend better, but they are not blending. 

I also can't use the old profile I was using on my old printer (despite the model being the same.)

Its very frustrating, the old profile worked great. 

I have attached a screenshot to try to explain better what I mean.
