Canon Pixma MX432 - "Unable to detect storage" error when attempting to Scan to USB drive

Hi, and thank you in advance.

I have been receiving the above error when attempting to save a scan to USB Drive. I have used this USB (3.0) drive previously, withouth issue.

Specs:

SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 32GB (SDCZ48-032G) with 20.8 GB free of 28.6GB.

The device seems to recognize the drive, as I am able to select USB Drive from the Save To menu, when pressing Scanner.  It is only when I press the Start, do I immediately receive the "Unable to detect storage" error.  I can use the drive on both my Windows 7 SP1 Laptop (ThinkPad t520) and my Windows 7 SP1 desktop (XPS Studio 8100).

Any suggestions? I was thinking about formatting the drive, but I hadn't done that to begin with....Thanks in advance!

OK, formatted the drive in Windows 7 SP1 as FAT32 (Restored Defaults) - and it now functions. Hope this can help someone else!
