I have a PIXMA MX 492 Printer & Scanner. I am using a Macbook Pro OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 I downloaded the Canon IJ Scan Utility2 driver from the Canon website. A problem arises when I have a filename to an item I want to scan. For example if I say I want to save a scanned file and want to name it "test", instead when I go to retrieve the file it will save as "test 2016890800". I just want to save the filename as I have assigned it, not with all the extra numbers and things after the file name. How do I fix this?
Any help would be appreciated
