To resolve this error, please replace both the color ink cartridge and black ink cartridge in your printer with new genuine Canon ink cartridges.
If you own the PIXMA MG4250, please make sure that you are using ink cartridges tthat are compatible with your PIXMA MG4250. Ink cartridges used with the PIXMA MG4220 may look similar in size, but are not compatible with the PIXMA MG4250.
The PIXMA MG4250 uses the PG-540 and CL-541, whereas the PIXMA MG4220 uses the PG-240 and CL-241. They are not interchangeable.
