The Canon PIXMA G620 manual only mentions that the scanner can output 8 or 16 bit per color, but it doesn't mention if the 16 bit/color is external (output to PC) or internal (only used when copying internally). Can anyone please confirm if the scanner can output 16 bit/color externally (for both RGB and B/W modes)?
