Hi I switched computers recently so didn't have the utility for scanning loaded. I downloaded the MP Navigator EX 3.1 software and installed it but when I try to scan, I receive an error Cannot communicate with scanner, indicating that the problem could be that the scanner is turned off, with an error code: 2,145,50 The MX870 is connected through USB and I'm able to print regular documents, off the web etc. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I rebooted after I installed the software as indicated by the installation. Thanks for any help!
