With a MacBook air OS15.3 I'm wondering how to enable B&W printing all the time, then change it in the few instances when color is required.
I had this all figured out from an old post from Canon Community in 2023, but I need a new solution with this new mac operating system.
Thank you!

Hi phold,
The PIXMA MX492 is not supported with macOS v15 (Sequoia). You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for the suggestion, however, the Canon software/drivers page shows scan/print software/drivers for Mac Sequoia v.15.3, which I am using successfully.
It's just a matter of changing the settings to restrict printing to b&w only correct?
