Hi Cathy,
You can check the amount of toner remaining in the toner cartridges via your machine's menu. Here are the steps:
1. Press [Toner Gauge] button on the Control Panel.
The toner level and toner cartridge color(s) are displayed in three stages:
- <OK>
- <Low>
A message to "Prepare" or "Replace" a toner cartridge may be displayed.
- <Nearly Out>
A message of "End of <Toner Color>" or "Cannot guarantee qlty. <Toner Color>" and replacement recommended appears in the display.
Note: Black, yellow, magenta, or cyan will appear in <Toner Color>. (More than one color may appear.)
2. Press [Reset] button to return to standby mode.
