Hi,
I have an error that I can't figure out how to fix.
Hp Laptop with Windows 8.1
Printer Canon Pixma MX410
Connection is via USB
I Installed the latest drivers and the Canon Quick Menu so I can scan multiple pages to PDF.
Everything works well, except for the scanning part.
When I go to the Canon Quick Menu and use the Auto Scan feature, an error code comes up:
Canon MP Navigator EX
There was an nuknown error.
Code=19
The same thing hapens when I click the scan button on the printer.
Scaning works when I initiate it from Paint, but I need to scan multiple pages in PDF and don't have time to deal with JPEGs.
I installed and reinstalled drivers and no change.
I looked at the device manager and under Imaging devices, all is well.
Don't know how to do the registry fix.
Hope this is plenty of info. Any help is apreciated.

Hi Dan46,
In addition to reinstalling the drivers and the Quick Menu, please also reinstall the MP Navigator program using the latest version from the Canon USA website. You can also try to use another USB cable to connect the printer to the computer to see if this will resolve the error. Please be sure to plug the cable into a USB port on the back of your computer instead of the front USB ports. If you still experience difficulty, we ask that you please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page for further assistance.
