Canon BJC-210 on Mac El Capitan

Judges
Apprentice

Have a canon BJC-210 which worked perfectly on my windows computer.  Now I have a Mac Pro Laptop and it is not working properly.  It printed out 10 pages of goodness knows what [like a dos instalment list] before I stopped it.  It showed a weird name for the printer, not the canon BJC ...

Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to work on Mas OS El Capitan?  Please help.  I need to use it desperately for 6  weeks while awy from home.   I cant buy a new printer for a few weeks.  Have good one at home 3000 miles away.

Thanking you,

Judges

Hi Judges,

The BJC-210 is not supported with macOS v10.13.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program.  This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system.  This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

To help you get up and running quickly, we also offer free standard shipping (if the order is completed by 12:30PM ET).  If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 seven days a week, 8am to Midnight.  Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.

Thank you for your quick answer, and the offer of a discount. I only need this printer now for 6 weeks while away from my home. I have an excellent printer at home. Thus I will just have to do without. Judges
