You'll want to ensure you have the most current version of the Canon software installed. You can get it HERE, if you don't. Once you've got the Canon software installed, you'll be able to access the Print Dialog. This is where you'll be able to change the preset to "grayscale." You can see what the Print Dialog looks like HERE.
