Can't set printer to use front paper feed on Pixma 7020 with MAC

I've only had this printer a few years--not even long enough to use up the ink it came with!  There's a piece of plastic broken on thereat paper feed, so it won't close and therefore can't print except from the front feed.  However, I can't figure out how to set the printer to use only the front feed.  I have tried everyone's ideas to no avail.  Help!

Hi there!

We have a couple printers with 7020 in the name within the PIXMA lineup. Will you please look at the front or top of the printer for the full name? It should have 1 or 2 letters in front of the 7020!
