Bypass or refill PGBK?

I have an MG7520. And yes, I take my chances with refills by Costco. Ink costs more than printers sometimes!

I don't want to do it myself though. And I can't find a place that refills PGBK

Is it possible to either bypass it to use the black only, or even better can the tank be refilled with regular black ink?

We cannot support the use of third party or refilled in tanks.

If you continue to have difficulties with the refilled ink, install a new, genuine Canon brand ink tank to resolve any ink warnings for the slot.

I understand this. I'm not having any difficulty with the refilled ink. Just the empty PGBK. Can I bypass it?

It's frustrating that I can't print in any color if one tank is empty.
