Black ink

how can I use only the black ink, can i replace the yellow and pink inks with a black one? I just need the black ink i don't need the other colours Im using Windows 7 and 8, is there a bottom which i can click on to just use the black ink??

I to am new here so hope I am doing this right. 

I have a mx922 and set to grey scale as very seldom use colors but the colors keep being used up and empty before the black ones.  I check and it is still at grey.  Am on windows 7

Hello.

Although grayscale is enabled the color ink will be used in certain cases.  It is also not possbile to use our inkjet printers with the wrong tanks installed in the appropriate slots.
