"Failed to set Transfer Destination" error when trying to connect image.canon to frame.io

I just got a brand new EOS R7 and I am trying to set up the link between image.canon and frame.io. I keep getting the "Failed to Set Transfer Destination" error when trying to connect them on the computer web browser and I just get plain "Error" when I try to do it on the app.

Also, the Connect link from the image.canon app to Lightroom keeps resetting back to connect on me after I get that connected.

Any insight as to what I can do to stabilize the Lightroom connection and set up the frame.io link??

Hello skresge1,

Frame.io is a cloud-based platform operated by Adobe for video editing users. By integrating your software with Frame.io, you will be able to edit your videos. Currently, services such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve support integration with Frame.io. Please check each service provider's website for creating accounts and plans for each software.

If you log out of the Adobe website on the same device's browser, there may be a case of your image.canon account being disconnected to your connected Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

This is what Frame.io told me:

The Image.Canon integration was actually built by Canon using our APIs. I can see that your account is on V4. It's possible, since they are using our API for the integration, that this is causing the error because API support is not yet available for V4.

Unfortunately, with this we're limited in what we can troubleshoot on our end so I would recommend reaching out to Canon's support team directly instead.

Here's a link to their support page: https://www.usa.canon.com/support
