Purchased a new computer years ago because my old computer crashed. The new computer does not have the software for the canon eop rebel T1i. I have not been able to use the camera. Need help.

What do you mean you haven't been able to use the camera?

There's no software needed to operate the camera, or to move photos from camera to computer. A USB cable will let you move photos, or an SD card reader that plugs into your computer. Either way, the camera or card shows up as a drive in Windows File Explorer, or desktop on a Mac or Linux.
