 Im having trouble finding an app to download so my computer will recondnizi my Rebel T3i. any suggestions?

You need to refer to the Canon Support Rebel T3i support page.  They're not hard to find from the Support home page.

Start typing "Rebel T3i Body" in the white box, and when you see a drop down menu, select "Rebel T3i Body".
