Where to find Imagebrowser EX

I have Rebel xti cameras and have been using zoombrowser ex for viewing photos. I have a new laptop and want to download either zoombrowser ex or imagebrowser ex. How do I do that? When I search the Canon website for rebel software it does not show either software.

Greetings ,

I don't want to say that you can't use either of these applications with Windows 10 or Windows 11, but they are not officially supported and in many cases may not be compatible.  Both of these applications were developed for operating systems which are now end of life.  If you don't have them or can still find them, you'll be using or downloading them at your own risk.  I don't recommend that you even try.

Your best bet would be to use a card reader for image transfer. You can also try using an older version of the EOS utility but it too is an older application which Is no longer being developed or supported by Canon.  It might run but after an operating system update it may not.  Again, my recommendation would not be to introduce ancient software to you modern OS.

In the end card reader would be the way to go.

  • EOS Utility 2.1.1 supports the Rebel XS and XSi, so maybe it will work for the XTi. It has an upgrade to 2.14.20a.
