I have a PowerShot SX540 HS, and Have transferred photos to my iPhone several times. Never any issues connecting to wi-fi or to my phone. Recently, when attempting to transfer photos, I can connect to WiFi, then when selecting transfer to phone, it says, open Canon APP on phone, which I do, ... then when trying connect, after a few moments it simply says - Error Detected. No explanation as to what the error is or how to correct it.
Please help. Thank You.

Try deleting the connection settings in the Wi-Fi setup in the camera and also the connection in the app in the phone. Then set up both again.
