The PowerShot SX 230hs is a 14-year-old camera and is no longer under support.
The software that it used was designed for earlier versions of Windows.

However, some of it might be too old to install or run on Windows 11.
If you want to try, visit the link above. Select downloads, Windows, Windows 10 64-bit.
Download camera window and see if it'll install. You can also try in compatibility mode.
Another option would be to buy a card reader. These are very inexpensive about $10. Take the card out of your camera, pop it into the card reader, and connect that to your computer. It will appear as a drive (mass storage device) and you can copy your photos from it to your PC drag and drop. You do not need any software to copy files from the card to your computer. I would opt for this method, especially if you want to continue using this camera in the long run.
