Photoshop Elements 2021 problem?

Bought it and downloaded it yesterday afternoon. My laptop is about 5-6 years old and took almost two hours to download and jump through all the hoops. I keep getting emails with a code to activate it. Thought I was through all thate and got another code this morning. What gives here?

BTW, had a update and took 90 minutes to download.
