Impossible to save on DPP

Hello, I'm having the same problem saving DPP files on my Mac OS 26 again.

- Cmd + S = the application crashes with the attached error report.
- Cmd + Shift = the following message appears: "Unable to access the file."
- Cmd + D = the JPG is saved, but not the CR2.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thank you for your replies.
Attachment: crash report.

Are you saving files on an internal or external volume? In Finder, if you single-click a volume to select it, then use File | Get Info (or Command-I), what is the Format (e.g. APFS)? I'm wondering if DPP may lack the ability of working with certain formats.

Also, a complete guess, but do any of your Volume names (e.g "Macintosh HD") or folders where you are saving files contain any characters other than A through Z, digits 0 to 9 and spaces? I'm wondering if DPP could not be dealing with certain characters in files and folder names.

The external drive containing the photo folder is formatted as APFS.
Yes, all my photo folders names contain characters such as spaces and numbers.
But what's surprising is that the saving problem isn't consistent.
- Sometimes it works perfectly for an hour, then suddenly it stops working for no apparent reason.
- Sometimes it doesn't work at all, even if I restart my Mac.
- Sometimes I have no problem during an entire editing session.

Yea, very unfortunate that the failures are random. I think about all you can do is to submit the crash reports to Canon.

I will inform Canon about this.
I already had the same problem with the Artherapee app, and it was the app's creator who resolved the issue on their end.
Thank you for your help.
