How to Tether EOS R1 to MacBook Pro with M1 Max via Lightroom Classic

Has anyone been able to tether the R1 to a MacBook Pro running Lightroom Classic?

I have updated Adobe software and there is no Canon Utility available for this model according to the Canon Support page.

Welcome to the Community.

I would recommend downloading apps from the R3 product support page if you don’t see what you’re looking for on the R1 support page.

You may also have to download apps for an earlier version of the Operating System, too, you don’t see yours listed as an option.

As far compatibility with Adobe goes, you should go to Adobe for the best advice.

Are you looking to tether directly to LrC? Since the R1 was just released Adobe may not have updated LrC yet.

As Bill suggested, EOSU 3.18.41 has been updated for the R1, but it shows up on the macOS Sonoma page but not Sequoia.

EOSU3 3.18.41 runs on my MacBook Air M2 w/Sequoia, but I don't have an R1 to verify connection.
