Is there a way to pull out the GPS data from the Canon Camera Connect app, like as a KML file or similar?

Great question!

I plugged my iPhone in to my Mac last night to see what shows up. While many apps do show up in the Finder and you can get files (I was able to copy out the GPS logs from the “Geotag Photos 2” app), the Canon Camera Connect app does not present itself. It would be something they could do, since other apps do it.
I’ve been using this app/camera since 2017 so I won’t hold my breath.

For everyone's benefit, please tell us what camera model you are using?

No camera. I want to run the app, collect GPS data, and extract it from the app.
(I have a camera, but it has nothing to do with this question, as it relates to the app itself and what the app does, and would be for getting the data out to load in a map to look at where I travelled that day, etc. like other GPS apps do.)
