Our users have been reporting failed installations of EOS utility on their MacBook Pros. We've found that it happens on 50% of the systems we've tried.
They're running OSX version 10.15.4. MacBook Pros. EOS installer version M18.104.22.168
After trying multiple troubleshooting steps (including posts in this forum), the easiest resolution was to change the Preferred Language in System Preferences just before running the installer. Once the software is installed, change it back.
Here's where we got the idea. It's an old thread but was marked as the "helpful answer" and it worked.
