I have my Canon EOS RP connected to the EOS Utility on my Windows laptop, however the camera now won't record no matter what I try. As soon as I disconnect from the EOS Utility, it records just fine.

I assume that you have a memory card in the camera while attempting to record movies. Have you read the EOS Utility manual on recording movies using the utility? Are you using the EOS Utility software buttons to start the movie recording or the camera buttons? Here is a link to the manual:

Thank you for the link. I am using a formatted memory card, and I have tried using the camera buttons as well as the buttons within the utility. Like I stated, as soon as I disconnect from the Utility, the camera records just fine.
