Getting back into playing with DPP4 (still a newbie with it) and wanted to play with Dual Pixel RAW Optimizer. When I click on it in the Tools menu I get "Target file does not exist." I was working with a RAW image from a R5, if that is the issue.
I didn't find a whole lot on the Support page, but AI (which, of course, we all believe whole heartedly) said to reinstall. So download again from the Canon site and did a clean install with no change.
I don't see it on the site as a separate download, so what am I missing?
ADDED: I discovered that you have to Activate the option in Customize Toolbar (which doesn't makes a lot of sense🤔). But that has been done with no change.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Did you turn it it on in the camera for the raw you took?

Ohhh... Okay, back to the camera to check. Didn't realize it was a setting in the camera that would be defaulted to off.

It is in the first shooting menu with the image quality

There are some caveats and tradeoffs when the option is turned on:

Thanks for the notes. I've been reading a bit about it and when or if I'll opt to use it.
Originally I didn't remember reading about it on the camera side and just ran across the option in the DPP menus. But obviously not just a DPP thing.
