I got a lens hood for my 18-135mm IS USM. I wasn't sure I would like it but, so far, I think it's going to be great.
There doesn't seem to be as much light bouncing around, and I can put it right up against glass and I don't get the reflections bouncing back. It clicks into place and fits right over my lens cap.
Maybe no more double moons 😀
