hello there,
i have cannon eos 4000d i bought a ACK-E10 5V usb dummy battey and i paird it with adapter, it works fine i left it turn on 24 hours without problem, but when i connect it to pc via usb cable (another cable A to Mini B) , the dslr disconnect after like 2-3mins. it said Change battery pack.
is there any solution for this problem? i searched a lot without luck.

Is this a Canon OEM product? AFAIK, all the canon ones have to plug into a mains outlet. USB cannot supply enough power, which is why you cannot charge the batteries in the camera.

yes its oem, what should i do ? does it need to be connect hdmi to the pc ? and for that i need capture card or should it be okay with the software? eos i mean.

You’re correct. It is not a Canon product. It is similar to a product made by Tether Tools. But, I think this one comes from a company named Andoer. Simply put, they don’t work.

Buy a real Canon adapter, which does not have a battery. Your gear does not work. Period.
