I shoot with a cannon eos rp and have an off brand battery that I use. the camera says battery is full but then it dies right away. I'm trying to figure out if it's the battery or the camera that isn't working.

The logical answers are:
1. Replace the off-brand battery (which is not supported) with a known good one, preferably the original Canon battery for your camera
2. Use a multi-tester to confirm the battery has charge and how much that is.
