I'm looking for a way to protect the lenses. The glass bulges out and can easily touch other hard objects by accidents.
I am wondering if there is any way of putting a UV filter in front of the lenses to protect them.
The only solution I can think of right now is to find a large UV filter plate that can cover the entire from area and use a 3D printer to build something to hold it.
Any ideas will be welcomed.

Greetings,
To my knowledge there is no front filter accessory for this lens made by Canon or a 3rd party.

Sure, but I think you would need to get creative. Mount the camera on a rail system. Place a 100x100mm filter holder on the rails in front of the camera.

I found that “The MKII/Opteka Fisheye Protector” works without any modification
