Old ACK-E6 adapter is compatible with R series?

Hi, I have an EOS R5 and want to use my old AC Adapter ACK-E6 to power it. It looks like compatible since the new one AC-E6n and this old one, both works with 8V and 3A output. There is no information about this on web. Thanks

If you own all of the gear, have you tried to test it?  I would not expect anything worse than an error message.  But, I could be wrong.

Hi Waddizzle, O have all The gear, but I am afraid to damage my camera. Ots not probabilidade since the both products operante at the same output 8V and 3A. But aí want to be sure before test it.

If the R5 uses the same battery, the AC adapter will work fine.
