How to set up and use Canon Mount Adapter EF - EOS R

I bought the Canon Mount Ring Adapter for EOS R and I am rally confused how to set it up. All the Youtube videos are too quick and a little difficult for me to follow.  Are there any clear, concise written documents with photos that explain how to set it up and use it?

The ring adapter instructions say to see the camera manual for setup of the adapter.

This is b how to mount on the camera, but how do I set it up for the use to control ISO f stop?

Did you download the camera manual and search in there?

It's in the Customizing Operations section of the manual page 560.
