How can I compare camera prices across different countries when buying my first DSLR?

I am planning to buy my first DSLR camera, but I have noticed that camera prices vary significantly between countries. For example, prices in Pakistan can be different from those in the US or Europe because of import taxes and local warranties.

Is there a reliable way to compare camera prices internationally before making a purchase? Should I rely on official brand stores, local camera retailers, or price comparison websites?

I found one local resource that lists camera prices in Pakistan and different camera models, but I'm not sure if using local pricing is the best approach when deciding whether to buy locally or import a camera.

What factors should I consider besides price, such as warranty, accessories, or after-sales support?

One example I found is: dslr camera price in pakistan (lists current camera prices in Pakistan).

You should buy the camera and lenses in the country you live in. Warranties are only honored in the country of purchase.

And if you don't believe us - though I am not sure how to search for it - look at all the posts like "I bought  my camera in some country, but I can;t get it fixed in the country I live!"

@Jkarl's and @kvbarkley recommendation and statements are truth and 100% accurate

Prices can vary by region.  You will be doing yourself a disservice trying to save a buck, or "being clever" buying gear intended for sale in another country or region.  I strongly recommend that you not buy grey market. If you need support or warranty, it's at the discretion of the local service center.  Do they have parts, etc. can they help you.

If you're purchasing in the United States, Canon Price Watch is an excellent site for current camera and lens pricing.

As a first-time buyer with no previous investment I would recommend buying mirrorless.  Support for DSLR's and EF lenses is diminishing.
