I just bought a canon R10 camera (upgrade from my old Canon SL1). I have an older Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. I have seen that there is an adapter that may allow me to use it with my new R10. I would love to get the canon RF28-70mm F2, but I simply can’t afford it. Would the Canon - EF-EOS R5, EOS R6, EOS R and EOS RP Lens Mount Adapter allow me to use the EF 24-70 lens with my new R10 camera?

Any of the Canon brand EF-RF will work with all EOS R Series cameras and retain compatibility with ALL Canon brand EF lenses. Note there are limitations with older EF lenses mainly those released before 2009. They will not be able to fully use the highly advanced AF Systems found in the EOS R Series.

However if you never needed it before you probably will never miss it.
