Good Shotgun microphone for my EOS Rebel T5i

Looking for recommendations for a good inexpensive shotgun mic for a Canon T5i for general video work.  I currently have a JJC unit that I got several years ago and lost the foam windscreen.  Having trouble finding one to fit, so would sooner put the money into a new mic.

Hmm. Go to a fabric store and wrap it with the polyester chair padding? May even have thin foam padding.
