Full Leather Camera Case needed for a Canon A1

Been trying for some weeks now to find a Canon A1 black leather camera case but they appear to be very hard indeed to find. T

ried E-Bay but still no luck.

My own case just disintegrated upon cleaning.

The actual camera body part of the leather/carboard case was mostly made out of cardboard!

I had no idea whatsoever that Canon would do that, why weren't they made out of 100% leather?

Anyone know where I can get a full camera case from?

Preferably black leather as was the original full case. I haven't seen any non leather cases as such.

MegaGear used to make the best replacement leather cases for the A1 and AE-1 but they no longer manufacturer them.  🙁  Etsy has half cases but I haven't seen any full cases in a long while.

When leatherette came on the scene way back I don't think any cameras could be had with real leather. At least none in my price range and some vintage cameras. And leatherette is what Canon used on the A1. You are extremely unlikely to find a real leather case since I doubt that anybody ever made one.
