EOS Rebel T7 microphone recommendations

Hello, I currently have a Rebel T7 as my first camera and want to start upgrading it with soon a monitor or microphone for sports. I understand that my camera has a 2.5mm jack rather than a 3.5mm. Is there still a quality microphone that has a 2.5mm jack. This issue brought up a new question- can I have a monitor for my camera?

There is no external microphone jack. The 2.5mm jack is for a remote.

You can plug an HDMI monitor in the port, but you will not get "clean" HDMI.
