Is anyone familiar with the Canon Wireless Microphone model WM-V1? I picked some up to use with my Canon Camcorders. Through separate purchases from 2 different sellers, I ended up with 2 microphones and 3 receivers. One microphone/receiver combo (see above) paired easily, but I couldn't get the remaining microphone (B) to pair with either remaining receiver (A, C) despite trying several times. The blue lights on both units flash as you'd expect like they are searching for each other, but they never seem to "find" one another to link up.
Since they are sold used individually, I assumed that any WM-V1 microphone could be paired with any WM-V1 receiver. But I later noticed that the combo that paired easily had matching numbers, so maybe they were part of the same original set and that's why they work together. Whereas the other microphone, receiver, and receiver all have different numbers and thus came from different sets, so maybe that's why they won't sync up.
Does anyone else have these and can verify whether or not a microphone and receiver not originally purchased together can be paired together? Thanks so much.

Hello,
It seems that Canon WM-V1 microphones and receivers need to be from the same original set to pair properly. If they have different numbers, they likely came from different sets, which could explain why they won't sync up.
You might want to check if there's a way to reset or re-pair the devices, or consider purchasing a complete set from a single seller to ensure compatibility.
Best regards,
Jack Henry

That may very well be the case, but I'd love to hear from anyone else who can confirm.
Thanks for the reply, Jack.
