I have tried several Microphones with my new EOS R8 most of which have either failed or been perilously dismal. Based on a podcasting suggestion which I do, I havean Audio Technica AS2100. That doesn't work even with vaious cables. If someone know how to do this, I am interested.
Otherwise, I am buying a SENNHEISER Condenser Microphone, MKE 400 (508898), which is on the way. I can return if need be.
I thought about a forum this morning and found this.
Please let me know your suggestions, ones that others are using with success now.
