Canon LP-E6N Recharge Performance displays only 2 bars on EOS 90D

When I inserted the Canon LP-E6N battery after recharging into my 90D yesterday, I noticed the Recharge Performance (Battery Info sub-menu) displayed 2 bars.  I thought this was a bit curious because I estimate that my camera (which is about 9.5 months old) has about 16,000 shutter releases mixed in with a few videos and a bit of Live View Shooting.  I usually recharge the battery when it's in the 25-49% range and have never run it down to 0% before charging.

The date on the battery is 2022-09 and I don't think it's depleting faster than it did when the battery was newer.

I am in Arizona and the summer heat here kills car batteries (usually within 2-3 years) but the chemistry is different in a lithium-ion battery vs. a lead acid car battery.  Most of my shooting is out of doors and the when not in use, the camera is stored indoors where it is air conditioned.

Should I be concerned with the Recharge Performance display of this particular battery or ignore it until battery life is noticeably shorter than expectation?

I’m curious as to any experience and observations (anecdotal or otherwise) any of you may have had with regard to correlating the Recharge Performance display with actual battery performance, etc.

Thank you!

LZ

Run the battery down to 10% ,.  Charge it up again and run it down to 10% again.  Then recharge fully and check the performance.

I usually get about 3-5 yrs of use before I start noticing any degradation.

They say that lithium ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect, but I think any battery can can suffer degraded performance if it's not discharged below 20% over time.  How batteries are stored (charge level) over the course of their life can also impact performance.
