Battery Grip BG-R10 setting for back button focussing on R5

Hi - I have a question about setting of Battery Grip BG-R10 setting for back button focussing on R5. I have set up back button focussing on my R5 so that shutter button starts metering and AF-ON button back of camera initiates AF.

I would like to use battery grip BG-R10 on this camera. Would battery grip's AF-ON button work exactly the same way I already have set up on my camera? Or Do I have to set up AF-ON button on battery grip to do back button focussing as well rather than grip using my already set function on my R5?

Hi and welcome to the forum:

The battery grip should echo the settings you created for the main camera body.  I have an R5, and both R6 variants, all with BG-10 grips and all configured for BBF.
