VIXIA HF R600 - Lights come on like normal, screen does not.

Hello everyone, purchased a VIXIA HF R600 in November and I am in need of some help. 

Recently my VIXIA HF R600 has been running in to some issues. I have completely charged the battery, when I attempt to turn it on, everything looks like it is working correctly, lights come on and everything but nothing ever appears on the screen. Not even like the screen turns on and just stays black, just the screen never displays anything. It even looks like if I hit the record button it may still be recording (flahsing red light works). But still nothing on the screen. I have tried removing the battery and recharging but nothing seems to be working. 

Any suggestions?

That's a little strange, I don't think there is a way to disable the screen entirely since the camcorder doesn't have a viewfinder so this may be a connection issue inside the camcorder. It may be a good idea to have the camcorder looked at by a repair technician.
