VIXIA GX10 Repair recommendations

My GX10 won't power on.  I've sent it to a repair center. GX10 was diagnosed as needing the power board and main mounted circuit board replaced.  Any suggestions or recommendations??

Unfortunately it sounds like a costly repair.  I'd get it fixed or buy another used unless you are prepared to be without.

Thanks for the reply... Any suggestions on places to repair the camcorder???  I don't mind paying for the camcorder  to be repaired.  The repair center i sent the camcorder to had it since February with no expected time of completion on the repair....

This camera is around 10 years old. Being able to repair it is subject to parts availability, which will be a problem for anyone. The repair service may have been hoping to find a parts-donor to cannibalize to fix yours.
