Remote for Vixia HF R800

Is there a remote for this camera that can be ordered? Or an aftermarket addtion that could allow for remote control capabilities?

Hey there,

It looks like you can use an Android or iOS device to control the camera wirelessly. Instructions are on page 157 of the manual down below:

Only the HF 80 and HF R 82 have WiFi. Unfortunately the HF R800 does not. So there's no way the Android app could work. This is noted in the user manual.
