In a failed attempt to delete ONE SCENE from my VIXIA HF G10 my entire built-in memory was erased in error. I called Canon Tech Support and they knew of nothing that would retireve this data (only from the SD cards). <sigh>
I have not used the camera at all - to preserve the data. Any advice on recovery? I am trying a product by STELLAR and it is taking "days" to do anything.

I don't know whether either of these will help but I've listed a couple of recovery programs that you can try:
Recuva from Piriform (make sure to download from the official site)
PhotoRec from cgsecurity (make sure to download from the official site)
Both are free. Though I've never used PhotoRec I've seen it recommended many times. I do use Recuva but have not attempted recovery of files from the internal memory of a camcorder.
